Job summary

Transition Technologies PSC is seeking a senior Assembler specialist for IBM z/OS mainframe environments. You will design, write, test, and optimize Assembler code, modernize legacy applications, and collaborate with COBOL/Java teams to deliver integrated solutions.

You will mentor junior developers, contribute to modernization strategies, and leverage tools like IBM RMF/OMEGAMON to improve performance. Fluency in English is required and a strong background in mainframe systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Assembler HLASM programming and mainframe systems (IBM z/OS, MVS, CICS, DB2)
• Experience with performance tools (IBM Debug Tool, Abend-AID, OMEGAMON)
• Strong memory management and system programming knowledge
• Experience integrating Assembler with COBOL, PL/I, or Java
• 7+ years of Assembler development experience, with at least 5 years in mainframe systems
• IBM Certified System Programmer and z/OS Mastery certifications are a plus
• Very good command of English

Responsibilities
