The role focuses on secure, scalable Java solutions, integration with Kafka, containerisation, CI/CD, and cloud readiness, contributing to enterprise-wide engineering excellence.

Qualifications

• Extensive IT delivery experience with Agile delivery.
• Senior or lead expert engineer with Java background.

Responsibilities

• Shape and evolve Java engineering standards and guidelines.
• Translate strategy into actionable frameworks and patterns across squads.
• Contribute hands-on to design of reusable Java components and libraries.
• Provide technical evaluations on feasibility, integration, security, and performance.
• Ensure CoE standards across distributed, event-driven, microservice architectures.
• Guide solution reviews for engineering, architecture, and security compliance.
• Mentor engineers and promote knowledge sharing within the community.
