Job summary

Sabre Polska Sp. z o.o. is seeking a Lead Engineer for the Order Managements System (OMS) team in Kraków.

You will act as tech anchor for a dev team, delivering high‑scale Java solutions using Java 17, Spring Boot, Docker/Kubernetes, and GCP. Hybrid work with in‑office days, strong English/Polish communication, and collaboration across stakeholders. The role requires deep Java expertise, cloud deployment experience, and leadership capabilities to guide design, review code, and drive performance

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of hands-on Java programming (including Java 17).
• Experience with open-source frameworks and server-side Java ecosystems.
• Strong understanding of Java ecosystem, monitoring and diagnosis.
• Containers, Spring Boot, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Cloud deployments, preferably GCP.
• Agile/Lean processes experience.
• Experience leading dev teams or acting as tech anchor.
• Excellent English/Polish communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develops, codes, tests and debugs moderately complex software solutions or enhancements.
• Be tech anchor/TL for one of dev teams.
• Collaborate with technical staff to understand problems and resolve them.
• Lead technical discussions and propose improvements.
• Designs and codes moderately complex applications using advanced tech.
• Builds and demonstrates prototype applications.
• Understands business applications and domain.
