Job summary

Techland in Wroclaw is seeking an experienced Lead Game Designer to shape the feature roadmap and guide the development of core gameplay systems. You will lead a talented team and collaborate closely with the Core Team and Production to translate objectives into concrete features.

You will mentor designers, champion designs through the full development cycle, and use data to inform decisions. This is a growth-focused role with a collaborative, energetic studio culture.

Qualifications

• Senior experience in game design with at least 1 shipped AAA title as Lead or Senior Designer.
• Strong grounding in systemic game design and live-service engagement.
• Data literacy with KPIs and live performance data.
• Structured approach to design and production methodologies.
• Proactive, communicative within a dev team.
• Excellent written and verbal English.

Responsibilities

• Build and direct feature roadmaps with Core Team and Production.
• Plan and drive development of game features, set priorities, and assess hiring needs.
• Design engaging systemic content loops with high player value and reusability.
• Create a framework for detailed designs with co-leads and directors.
• Collaborate with Game Design Team to prioritize tasks and ensure cross-team communication.
• Mentor and coach game designers for growth in seniority and career development.
• Champion designs through development cycle from conception to post-launch support.
• Support implementation of features via prototyping, iteration, balancing and delivery.
• Identify workflow and tooling improvements to increase efficiency.
