FedEx in Warsaw/Krakow is seeking a Senior System Engineer (f/m) to serve as the European SME for automated material handling control systems. You will provide advanced technical support during escalations and drive standards and roadmaps with the Operations Technology team.

You will lead obsolescence programs, support predictive maintenance, and mentor field engineers across Europe while defining specifications for new installations and upgrades to improve reliability and cybersecurity.

Formación

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science, or Robotics.
• Extensive automation and controls experience in material handling.
• SME in PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, and industrial networks.
• Experience with CMMS/EAM platforms and data-driven reliability work.

Responsabilidades

• Act as European SME for automation control systems during escalations.
• Define and govern European standards, specifications, and best practices for PLCs, SCADA, and networks.
• Develop long-term roadmaps and lifecycle strategies for reliability and standardization.
• Lead obsolescence and modernization programs for end-of-life automation.
• Support predictive maintenance deployments with data-driven improvements.
• Mentor field engineering teams and review vendor designs for compliance.
• Monitor emerging technologies and drive continuous innovation.
