Job summary

Euroclear Kraków is seeking a Development Lead to act as the senior technical authority for automation across the GTS Network and Datacenter Department. You will lead hands-on development and shape the department-wide automation roadmap, working with Team Lead and Product Owner to translate strategy into practical solutions.

You will mentor junior engineers, drive on-premises automation, ensure security and reliability, and collaborate across squads to deliver enterprise-grade software.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional Python development in production environments.
• Experience as Development Lead, Technical Lead, Lead Developer, or senior developer.
• Proven delivery of enterprise-grade software or automation solutions.
• Strong architecture and reusable components experience.
• Coaching ability to develop others while remaining hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Define the automation architecture and direction for the full GTS Network and Datacenter Department.
• Drive the automation of on-premises network infrastructure.
• Automate and evolve the services delivered by the department to the company.
• Translate business, network and infrastructure requirements into robust software solutions.
• Hands-on design, coding, testing, troubleshooting and production support.
• Lead design discussions and make key architecture decisions.
• Own security, performance, reliability and maintainability.
• Drive Infrastructure as Code, network service automation and Data Centre Modernization initiatives.
• Define reusable frameworks, APIs, libraries and development practices.
• Work with Team Lead and Product Owner on scope, risks and priorities.
• Create reusable automation capabilities across squads.
• Mentor junior and mid-level developers through reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Identify technical debt and delivery risks early.
• Explain decisions and trade-offs to stakeholders.
