Job summary

Emerge seeks an Enterprise AI Architect to serve as chief Design Authority for AI across the FinTech group. This hands-on role defines reference architectures, standards, and patterns, and prototypes solutions for production-grade AI systems.

You will lead data and knowledge architecture, embedding strategies, and interoperability across enterprise platforms while ensuring security, governance, and regulatory compliance in high-volume environments.

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years in software, data, or ML engineering with at least 3 years in Architecture/Technical Design Authority roles.
• Proven hands-on experience deploying AI/ML systems at scale in production.
• Deep practical knowledge of LLMs, RAG, embeddings, and vector databases.

Responsibilities

• Define the target enterprise AI reference architecture and solution patterns for the organization.
• Establish model standards (LLMs), ADRs, and reusable architectural patterns.
• Design data processing, knowledge retrieval, embedding estates, and vector/knowledge store architectures.
• Ensure interoperability between AI components and core enterprise systems.
• Lead prototype implementations and code/design reviews for production readiness.
