Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking an experienced Embedded Software Tester to validate embedded systems, with a strong focus on Python-based test automation. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the automotive industry and a deep understanding of its specific working environment and standards.

The role requires hands-on testing on QNX, familiarity with UDS and DoIP, and strong English communication. We offer a diverse, inclusive environment with growth opportunities and relocation/rotation

Qualifications

• Strong Python skills, especially with test frameworks like Pytest.
• Experience testing embedded systems running on QNX.
• Automotive industry experience and understanding of its development lifecycle and functional safety.
• Knowledge of UDS and DoIP protocols.
• English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Pytest.
• Execute a variety of software tests, including integration and system-level tests.
• Perform fault tracing and detailed root cause analysis.
• Collaborate closely with software developers and other testers to ensure product quality.
• Report bugs and track their resolution using standard bug tracking tools.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our testing processes and automation framework.
