Baker Hughes is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer – Power Electronics in Poland to develop complex electronic circuits for downhole drilling tools in extreme environments.

You will design power electronic modules, simulate control algorithms, and support PCB layout while contributing to the full product development lifecycle and documentation for milestones in the technology development process.

Qualifications

• Above-average university degree in Electrical Engineering, focus on power electronics.
• Experience in power electronics topologies and control systems.
• Knowledge of GaN/SiC devices and measurement/diagnostic practices.
• Strong written and verbal English for international collaboration.

Responsabilités

• Circuit design of power electronic modules and mixed-signal circuitry.
• Develop motor drives and high-density switching power supplies.
• Simulate control algorithms using Matlab/Simulink.
• Support PCB layout and test/characterization in high-temperature environments.
• Document development results and present at design reviews.
