Your responsibilities will span the entire life cycle of electronic design, including requirement specification, architecture design, simulation, implementation, verification & validation, and documentation.

As Electrical Design Engineer – Power Electronics you will be responsible for:
  • Circuit design of power electronic modules, including mixed-signal circuitry.
  • Develop power electronics modules, including motor drives and switching power supplies.
  • Perform simulations using Matlab/Simulink to validate control algorithms for the power electronic modules.
  • Support of the PCB layout.
  • Test and characterization of electronic circuits at high ambient temperature.
  • Development of test systems including hardware and software.
  • Qualification of electronic components for high temperature applications.
  • Complete documentation for new product developments and presentation of development results in design reviews to complete milestones in the technology development process.
To be successful in this role you will:
  • Above-average university degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with the focus on power electronics.
  • Practical experience in circuit- and system design of power electronics, gathered during internships, thesis and/or professional experience in the above area of responsibility.
