Job summary

Baker Hughes in Warsaw, Poland seeks a mid‑career Lead Electronics Engineer to design and deliver subsea production control systems, producing high‑quality electrical and electronic designs, calculations and documentation while ensuring compliance with international standards.

You will work in multidisciplinary teams, provide technical direction, design assurance, mentorship, and act as a key technical focal point to guide projects, including offshore and workshop tasks when required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic/Controls Engineering with a strong theoretical foundation.
• Experience in electrical/electronic design, AC/DC systems and analogue/digital electronics.
• Ability to write clear documentation and perform schematics, SLDs and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of IEC, CE and other international standards; risk, EHS and QA processes.
• Experience with Creo, Altium, AutoCAD and PLM tools; able to mentor others.
• Able to work in an international team with fluent English and strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Deliver electrical/electronic designs, analyses and calculations per standards.
• Produce, review and maintain engineering documentation (schematics, SLDs, wiring diagrams, specs, BOMs).
• Ensure on-time delivery of high-quality engineering packages with safety and compliance.
• Respond to technical queries and support offshore/workshop activities.
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Support development of power, control, communication and electronic/PCBA systems.
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary teams and promote best engineering practice.
• Provide technical oversight, run design reviews and mentor engineers.
