Job summary

EVEREC is seeking a Motor Production Technologist to establish and optimise production for BLDC and PMSM electric motors in Poland. The role is hands-on, with responsibility for process development, testing, quality control and continuous improvement in a growing manufacturing operation.

The ideal candidate has direct experience in winding and assembly, including needle and hand winding, and can lead the setup of production lines on-site with a focus on manufacturability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Direct hands-on experience in electric motor production, winding and assembly.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and optimise manufacturing processes for BLDC and PMSM electric motors.
• Establish production processes for stator winding, rotor assembly and complete motor assembly.
• Set up and optimise needle-winding and hand-winding operations, ensuring consistent manufacturing quality.
• Manage winding parameters: wire tension, layer sequencing, fill factor and insulation integrity.
• Support installation and setup of new manufacturing equipment and lines.
• Establish QC procedures for magnets, laminations, winding wire and bearings.
• Carry out Hi-Pot and surge testing to identify insulation faults and winding defects.
• Conduct back-EMF and dynamometer testing to assess performance and thermal characteristics.
• Investigate defects, identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Create and maintain WIs, routings, QC docs and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with design teams to improve manufacturability and efficiency.
• Maintain production traceability, batch records, test reports and non-conformance docs.
• Support continuous improvement to reduce defects and optimise processes.
• Transition manufacturing from prototype to low-volume production.
