Job summary

GlobalLogic is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to scale operations from small teams to large, cross-functional projects. You will design infrastructure, standardize CI/CD, and drive microservices deployment while coordinating across teams.

The role starts with extensive travel during the first 2–3 months and then becomes fully remote. The ideal candidate has 6+ years in DevOps, deep Kubernetes/Helm/Jenkins expertise, and strong UML diagramming skills to communicate complex workflows.

Qualifications

6+ years of DevOps experience.
High-level expertise in Kubernetes, Helm and Jenkins.
Strong CI experience with KPIs and automated code quality checks.
Familiarity with microservices and scalable architectures.
Solid leadership and change-management skills.
Ability to create clear UML diagrams of processes.

Responsibilities

Design and manage scalable infrastructure as we grow from small teams to full-scale projects.
Lead and coordinate Helm charts sharing across teams.
Define and standardize code quality rules, KPIs, and versioning for CI/CD pipelines.
Develop and maintain complex automation pipelines with Jenkins.
Navigate organizational dynamics and align teams to technical standards.
Create UML diagrams to explain DevOps workflows and architectures.
Drive microservices deployment and continuous delivery initiatives.
