Job summary

GlobalLogic Inc. is seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to scale infrastructure from small setups to large multi-team projects. The role emphasizes architecture, scalability with microservices, and strong leadership to guide teams through change.

The candidate will design and manage CI/CD pipelines, standardize code quality KPIs, and lead Helm chart sharing across teams, while facilitating cross-team collaboration.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years working as a DevOps professional.

Responsibilities

• Build Large Systems: Design and manage the infrastructure as we move from small teams to full-scale projects.
• Manage Helm: Create and maintain a system for sharing Helm charts across different teams.
• CI/CD Leadership: Standardize how we build and test code. You will define code quality rules, KPIs, and versioning standards.
• Pipeline Engineering: Use Jenkins to build and manage complex automation pipelines.
• Work with People: Navigate 'company politics' and help different teams agree on technical standards.
• Visual Planning: Use UML diagrams to explain how the DevOps systems and workflows work.
• Deployment: Lead the way in microservices deployment and Continuous Delivery (CD).
