Jacobs is seeking a Senior/Lead Data Engineer to design, build, and operate Snowflake-based data platforms at enterprise scale in Kraków. This hands-on technical leadership role focuses on modernizing data warehouses, ETL/ELT processes, and ensuring data quality, governance, and performance.

You will mentor data engineers, drive end-to-end migrations, and collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

Competenze

• 5+ years in data engineering or platform engineering roles, including senior-level work.
• Hands-on experience migrating data infrastructure end-to-end from legacy to modern cloud platforms.
• Strong Python and SQL programming with cloud data workloads (Azure).

Mansioni

• Design, develop, and operate Snowflake-based data platforms for analytics and reporting.
• Lead end-to-end data infrastructure migrations, including source integrations and cutovers.
• Build scalable data pipelines (batch and real-time) with reliable monitoring and governance.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Mentor Data Engineers, conduct reviews, and contribute to team growth.
