Job summary

Precision for Medicine seeks a Principal Database Programmer to lead database programming for clinical trials with European teams. The role is full-time and can be done fully remotely from Europe, reporting across Data Management, PM and EDC vendors.

Responsibilities include leading programming teams, planning estimates, and ensuring regulatory compliance from study start to post database lock, while mentoring junior staff and supporting SOP development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in clinical database programming or related field.
• Bachelors or combination of related experience.
• Strong Oncology experience; autoimmune diseases are a plus.
• Proficient with Rave and Veeva; MS Office suite.
• Experience with CDISC standards (CDASH/SDTM/ADaM).
• Proficient in object-oriented programming languages.

Responsibilities

• Manage all programming aspects of the database from start to database lock.
• Lead operational and programming teams on assigned studies.
• Provide planning estimates for project scope, schedule, and resources.
• Develop, test, and validate clinical databases and applications.
• Provide system administration and advanced technical support.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software and database problems.
• Contribute to SOPs and data management process documentation.
• Coordinate with Data Management, PM, EDC vendors, and clients.
