Job summary

Precision Medicine Group seeks a Principal Database Programmer to lead programming for clinical databases across European projects. The role covers development, testing, implementation, maintenance and support from study start to post database lock.

You will collaborate with Data Management, Project Management, EDC vendors, and clients, ensuring regulatory compliance and timely delivery. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ experience in clinical data management/programming.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Strong experience with Oncology; autoimmune diseases is a plus.
• Experience with Rave and Veeva systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and programming languages (C#, C++, VBScript).
• Understanding of CDISC standards (CDASH, SDTM, ADaM).
• Ability to manage multiple studies and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee programming for clinical databases from start to post database lock.
• Lead study and programming teams; provide estimates for scope and timelines.
• Develop, test, and validate database programs for client projects and third-party apps.
• Provide support and training to data management staff and junior team members.
• Coordinate with sponsors, vendors and internal teams on data issues.
