Job summary

Aristocrat is seeking a Lead Accountant - Cash & Intercompany to lead end-to-end accounting and control for cash and intercompany processes across multiple entities and regions. You will oversee daily cash accounting, reconciliations, and intercompany lifecycle, while partnering with Treasury on liquidity and funding.

The role emphasizes governance, internal controls, audit readiness, and continuous improvement, including automation and standardisation across regions.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in financial accounting with cash, bank reconciliations, and intercompany
• IFRS/GAAP knowledge, intercompany eliminations
• Experience in multi-entity, multi-currency environments
• Strong balance sheet integrity and audit readiness
• Experience partnering with Treasury and working capital teams
• Stakeholder management across regions and functions
• Automation and process-improvement experience in finance
• Organised with attention to detail and ability to manage priorities
• Confident communicator to senior stakeholders
• ERP experience (D365) and reconciliation tools
• CA/CPA or equivalent qualification

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end accounting and control for cash and intercompany processes across multiple entities and regions
• Oversee daily cash accounting, bank reconciliations, and cash positioning
• Manage intercompany accounting lifecycle including billing, settlements, eliminations, and reconciliations
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end close for cash and intercompany
• Own balance sheet integrity and resolve aged or complex items
• Partner with Treasury on cash management, funding, and liquidity
• Drive governance across intercompany processes and settlements
• Lead intercompany netting and settlement processes
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and external reporting
• Support audits with documentation and timely responses
• Identify and implement process improvements including automation
• Provide leadership and develop cash management and intercompany skills
• Deliver reporting on cash positions and intercompany balances
