Job summary

EPAM Systems is seeking a hands-on Lead BI Analyst to drive data-driven decision-making and translate complex business needs into actionable insights. The role focuses on leading BI initiatives, designing dashboards, and collaborating with stakeholders across diverse industries.

You will manage data discovery, modeling, and data flows, and own product and project backlogs to ensure aligned outcomes with business goals. Hybrid work design with Poland-wide remote options is available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience delivering data and analytics projects across BI/DWH and AI initiatives.
• Strong hands-on experience translating business needs into data requirements.
• Proven track record delivering end-to-end projects using Agile methods.
• Advanced SQL skills for large datasets, profiling and analysis.
• Solid data warehouse fundamentals, modeling, and data architecture.
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops and stakeholder sessions to align business needs with project objectives.
• Translate business needs into data requirements and guide delivery teams.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, including senior leadership communication.
• Perform data discovery, profiling, and analysis on large datasets using SQL.
• Oversee design and delivery of BI solutions: dashboards, reports, data models, and mappings.
• Own and prioritize backlogs including epics, features and user stories.
• Create and maintain documentation covering processes, scope, data requirements, and designs.
• Ensure quality and relevance of project deliverables and data solutions.
