ABC Fitness is seeking a lead backend engineer to guide a small team and own backend features on the ABC Glofox platform. You will design services in Golang, optimize SQL workflows, and collaborate with CRM Ops, product, and design to deliver data-driven experiences for fitness entrepreneurs.

Based in Poland, the role emphasizes Agile and DevOps practices, mentoring 2-3 engineers, and delivering scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years in a general-purpose language; 2+ years in Go (Golang).
• Experience leading a small engineering team (2-3 engineers).
• Proficient in Agile development and DevOps practices.
• Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical guidance to a team of 2-3 engineers.
• Design and develop backend services using Golang.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries.
• Work with CRM Ops and data workflows.
• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and testers.
