Job summary

BlueThrone is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to build and scale backend services in Golang, while supporting a migration from Node.js. You will design robust APIs, work with large datasets, and optimize performance for a globally used analytics-driven music platform.

The role offers fully remote work with flexible hours, autonomy, and real impact on products used by millions of users. Experience with distributed systems and modern infrastructure is highly valued.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building backend systems at real scale.
• Strong Golang on the backend. This is your primary stack.
• Experience designing scalable architectures and REST APIs.
• Deep knowledge of PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and Elasticsearch.
• Hands-on with Redis and RabbitMQ.
• Confidence around infrastructure: Nginx, Kubernetes, deployment pipelines.
• Node.js experience is a HUGE plus.
• Mobile app experience (iOS or Android) is also a plus.
