Job summary

Globaldev is seeking a Lead Backend Engineer (Go) to shape the bidder platform architecture and drive performance across global campaigns. You will lead design efforts, guide code quality, and mentor engineers while partnering with Product, Data, and ML teams to deliver scalable backend solutions.

As a technical leader, you will own critical decisions, promote best practices, and help grow the engineering team in a fast-paced programmatic advertising environment.

Qualifications

• Proven backend development with Go on large-scale systems.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and microservices.
• Ability to lead initiatives from concept to production with cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend services in Go.
• Analyze and optimize distributed systems and microservice architectures.
• Drive engineering quality through code reviews and leadership.
• Contribute to architecture decisions and platform strategy.
• Collaborate with Product Managers to translate needs into scalable solutions.
• Work with Data Eng and ML teams to integrate data-driven capabilities.
• Foster ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement.
