Job summary

UST is seeking a Software Design & Development Engineer to build enterprise-grade backend solutions in Poland. The Lead II - Software Engineering role emphasizes architecture leadership, API development, and automation across validation infrastructure.

You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, reliable software, mentor engineers, and continuously improve automation efficiency and testing coverage in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience designing backend services and automation frameworks for enterprise software.
• Strong knowledge of Linux, Docker, OS image management, and software lifecycle processes.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop enterprise-grade backend software and automation frameworks.
• Lead software architecture design and development of scalable backend solutions.
• Perform code reviews and establish development best practices for high-quality delivery.
• Develop and maintain APIs, workflows, and backend services for engineering apps.
• Design and optimize databases to support validation workflows and infrastructure apps.
• Integrate Linux platforms, Docker, and automation frameworks into software solutions.
• Develop automated testing frameworks to improve software quality.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Provide mentoring and knowledge sharing to engineers.
