Job summary

Booksy is seeking a Data Analytics Lead to be the primary architect of our data's source of truth and to mentor Analytics Engineers. You will transform raw data into actionable insights through a sophisticated Looker semantic layer and drive data governance across the organization.

You will mentor the team, manage sprint priorities, and guard our Looker architecture while partnering with Data Engineering to optimize data models and table structures.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience leading or mentoring data or analytics engineers in an agile environment.
• Deep expertise in building and maintaining enterprise semantic layers in Looker (LookML, Liquid, administration), supported by advanced SQL skills and hands-on experience with modern cloud data warehouses like Snowflake or BigQuery.
• Engineering mindset with hands-on experience with Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and structured data modelling methodologies like Kimball or Data Vault.
• Practical scripting capability in Python to integrate with APIs, automate workflows, or explore intelligent automation solutions.

Responsibilities

• Shape the future of our data ecosystem by mentoring team members and managing sprint priorities.
• Lead as the guardian of our Looker architecture and establish robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with Data Engineering to optimize table structures and turn complex business needs into scalable data models.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Finance, and GTM Ops to translate requirements into actionable data insights.
