ALTEN Polska is seeking a Principal AI Platform Engineer to lead enterprise-scale AI solutions within an established tech ecosystem. This fully remote role from Poland requires strong Python and GenAI expertise and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

You will translate designs into scalable components, build production-grade AI capabilities, ensure CI/CD compliance, and uphold security standards while accelerating delivery across the organization.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software, platform, or AI engineering.
• Strong Python skills with hands-on experience with Generative AI solutions.
• Knowledge of agentic frameworks such as LangChain and LangGraph.
• Experience with Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, MCP, and API management platforms (e.g., Apigee).
• Production‑focused mindset with DevOps, MLOps, CI/CD, and testing experience.
• Familiarity with MLflow, Seldon, KFServing, and AI observability tools such as Arize.
• Experience with cloud migration and hybrid on‑prem/cloud environments.
• Understanding of networking and security concepts, including VXLAN, MPLS, and Zero‑Trust.
• Experience with ETL/ELT pipelines, Data Lakes, and Data Warehouses using technologies such as Spark, dbt, Delta Lake, and Parquet.
• Familiarity with metadata catalog solutions such as DataHub or Amundsen.
• Hands‑on experience with NLP, including data preparation, normalization, and transformation.
• Knowledge of ML/DL frameworks such as PyTorch, scikit‑learn, or similar.
• Experience with IAM and secrets management solutions, including Azure AD, SAML, and Vault.
• Familiarity with GitLab CI, Azure Pipelines, SonarQube, and OWASP ZAP.
• Understanding of security and compliance standards, including ISO 27001, NIST CSF, GDPR, and EBA guidelines.
• Good English, at least B2/B2+.

• Translate high-level designs into implementable technical components and architectures
• Design, develop, and integrate production-grade GenAI and agentic capabilities
• Build scalable and reliable services using modern software engineering practices
• Collaborate with Solution Designers, Tech Leads, and Engineers to resolve technical challenges and accelerate delivery
• Ensure compliance with corporate engineering standards, toolchains, testing frameworks, and CI/CD processes
• Support other engineers by removing technical blockers and promoting best practices
• Contribute to MLOps, deployment automation, monitoring, and operational readiness
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and technical decision-making

WHAT YOUR CHALLENGES WILL BE?
