Job summary

Inetum Polska seeks an experienced Lead AI Engineer in Warsaw to steer technical direction, mentor engineers, and deliver production-grade AI features across the full stack. You will design LLM workflows, drive AI tool adoption, and collaborate with platform teams in a hybrid work setting.

The role requires hands-on expertise in Python/Node.js, AWS-based architectures, and strong English and Polish communication. Join a FCA-regulated environment focusing on secure, auditable AI solutions.

Qualifications

• Must have led engineering squads, set technical direction and mentored engineers.
• Hands-on experience delivering LLM-based solutions in production, including RAG pipelines and agentic features.
• Proven track record building client-facing GenAI products in production environments.
• Deep experience with Python or Node.js and working knowledge of the other language.
• Experience owning architectural decisions and representing engineering in governance discussions.
• Experience building cloud-native applications on AWS (event-driven/serverless).
• Strong English and Polish communication (B2/C1).

Responsibilities

• Set the technical direction for your squad, own architecture and risk management.
• Design LLM workflows, RAG pipelines, and agentic features for production AI platforms.
• Drive adoption of AI coding tools across the full SDLC from planning to deployment.
• Deliver production-grade code across the full stack (Node.js or Python) and AWS-based architecture.
• Mentor engineers through reviews, design docs, and pairing.
• Collaborate with platform teams to reuse capabilities and avoid one-off solutions.
• Ensure all shipped software is compliant-by-design and auditable for FCA-regulated services.
