Job summary

Hitachi Energy Poland seeks a software developer to design, develop and deploy Applied AI/ML and Generative AI solutions for HVDC products. You will join a global, multidisciplinary team delivering digital technologies that enhance energy transition and grid resilience.

You will work across the full software lifecycle, apply state-of-the-art practices, build data fabrics and AI copilots, and collaborate with researchers and engineers worldwide to create measurable business value.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software/Electrical Engineering.
• Programming experience in C# and Python; strong software lifecycle knowledge.
• Experience with CI/CD, testing, and release management.
• Proficient with structured and unstructured databases (SQL/NoSQL).
• Experience with Azure OpenAI / Azure AI Services for AI solutions.
• Good knowledge of Generative AI and copilots; strong English communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain software solutions for training, deploying and managing ML/Generative AI lifecycles.
• Propose and prototype ideas for AI approaches with business impact.
• Deliver AI copilots and workflows to support engineers and create value.
• Apply best practices across the full software development lifecycle (CI/CD, testing, release).
• Design data fabric / pipelines to manage ML data; collaborate across teams.
• Work with global Hitachi Energy HVDC R&D and other groups to solve real-world challenges.
• Share knowledge and experience with teammates.
