ERGO Technology & Services S.A. (ET&S) is seeking an Actuarial Data Scientist to bridge technical challenges and business impact in pricing across the German market.

You will collaborate with stakeholders and a global team to develop pricing models, analytics, and dashboards, influencing strategic pricing decisions. The role requires a degree in a quantitative field, fluency in English, and hands-on experience with actuarial tools and cloud platforms.

Qualifications

• Fluent English
• Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Economics or related quantitative field
• Experience with actuarial/pricing tools (Akur8, WTW Pricing Suite, ResQ, R, SAS, Power BI, Tableau)
• Familiarity with cloud technologies (Azure, AWS, Databricks)
• Knowledge of predictive modeling, ML and actuarial analytics
• Experience building, validating, and monitoring analytical models
• Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving
• Ability to communicate insights via reports/dashboards

Responsibilities

• Deliver actuarial and data science support for pricing, risk and analytics initiatives
• Develop and enhance pricing, risk and predictive models
• Support pricing projects from data analysis and modeling to implementation and delivery
• Analyze market and business data to generate actionable insights

About the role

As an Actuarial Data Scientist, you will work with stakeholders across the business to implement pricing applications, bridging the gap between technical possibility and business impact, while actively fostering innovations that enhance our pricing strategies. You will be part of a global team responsible for the German market.

• delivering actuarial and data science support for pricing, risk, and analytics initiatives

Skills and experience you will need

• familiarity with cloud technologies such as Azure, AWS, or Databricks
