Responsibilities

• Maintain, validate and calibrate lab equipment.
• Manage samples, chemicals and lab inventory.
• Support test planning and problem solving.
• Cooperate with PPE, R&T, AQP, Plant QD, PE, and other labs on results and testing capabilities.
• Maintain clean lab policy and support sustainability initiatives.

Laboratory Technician (k/m/n) - temporary position

Autoneum is globally leading in acoustic and thermal management for light and commercial vehicles. The Company develops and produces multifunctional, lightweight and sustainable components and systems for interior floor, interior trim as well as engine bay and underbody. Customers include almost all automobile manufacturers in Europe, North & South America, Asia and Africa. Responsibilities

• Conduct laboratory testing for Development, R&T, requalification, production optimization, related projects in compliance with relevant standards
• Document all results in LIMS and report non-conformities. Perform primarily physical (e.g. tensile, abrasion), thermal (e.g. in climate chambers and ovens), visual, flammability, functional, dimensional, and emission-related tests; chemical analyses are performed occasionally.
• Maintain, validate and calibrate lab equipment
• Manage samples, chemicals, and lab inventory
• Support test planning and problem solving
• Cooperate with PPE, R&T, AQP, Plant QD, PE, and other laboratories on results, methodologies, and testing capabilities
• Maintain clean lab policy and support sustainability initiatives
