Job summary

Bechtel Poland is seeking an Employee/Labor Relations Representative to foster effective communication between project management, subcontractors, and craft personnel, ensuring a respectful and productive work environment.

You will ensure compliance with Polish labour law, support workforce planning and employee services, including accommodation and transport, and help resolve workplace issues efficiently and fairly.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of the project’s labour relations strategy.
• Stay current with Polish employment legislation, including construction-specific labour codes and foreign worker regulations.
• Advise on lawful recruitment practices and employment contract requirements.
• Foster relationships with government agencies, labour representatives, and project stakeholders.
• Assist in recruitment, selection, and onboarding of craft professionals.
• Develop workplace strategies for labour sourcing, training, recruitment and retention.
• Support systems to mitigate employee relations risks across direct hire and subcontracted workforces.
• Conduct onboarding sessions to ensure new hires understand rights and policies.
• Serve as primary contact for labour relations, including grievances and disciplinary actions.
• Monitor and interpret labour legislation, advising management on updates to policies.
