Job summary

Luxoft Poland seeks an experienced L2 Support Engineer to monitor edge systems and central cloud applications, perform diagnostics, and support local and remote operations. You will own L2 tasks including root-cause analysis, end‑to‑end diagnostics, documentation, and occasional manual testing of new features and releases.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in L2 support or similar roles.
• Experience with edge systems and cloud-hosted applications.
• Experience with telemetry, time-series data, and IIoT data pipelines.
• Hands-on knowledge of MQTT, Modbus, or similar industrial protocols.
• Strong Linux troubleshooting and log-analysis skills.
• Experience with SQL, databases, REST APIs, frontend and backend troubleshooting.
• Experience with manual functional and integration testing.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Degree or equivalent practical experience in automation, electrical engineering, or related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Fleet monitoring of edge systems and central cloud applications.
• L2 technical support and issue investigation.
• Root-cause analysis using logs, metrics, telemetry, services, databases, APIs, and network connections.
• End-to-end diagnostics tracing telemetry from devices to dashboards and reports.
• Escalation of unresolved problems with logs, reproduction steps, and impact information.
• Documentation of troubleshooting procedures, fleet-health reports, and incident summaries.
• Release validation dedicating approximately 30% of the role to manual testing of new features and releases.
