Job summary

Cforge is seeking a L2 Card Payments Support Engineer/Analyst in Kraków with 2+ years of experience in card payments production support. You will handle incident management, troubleshooting, and collaboration with payment networks and banking systems.

Responsibilities include monitoring, RCA, and ensuring SLA across card issuing, acquiring, gateway, and authorization systems. Proficiency in SQL and monitoring tools is preferred, with ITIL knowledge a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in Card Payments Production/Applications Support.
• Familiarity with card payment lifecycle, issuing, acquiring, and payment gateways.
• Experience in incident management and troubleshooting production issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 application and production support for card payment platforms.
• Monitor transactions and system health to ensure SLA.
• Investigate and resolve payment-related incidents, defects, and service requests.
• Analyze transaction failures and coordinate with internal teams and external partners for resolution.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
• Support day-to-day operations for card issuing, acquiring, payment gateway, and authorization systems.
• Participate in incident, problem, and change management activities.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure and business teams to ensure service stability.
• Prepare operational reports and maintain support documentation.
