Job summary

CloudFerro is building a sovereign European cloud platform and seeks Software Engineers to join the Kubernetes Platform team in Warsaw. You will develop DBaaS, Docker Registry, and Vault/Key Manager components, with full ownership from Kubernetes integration to APIs and documentation.

You will collaborate across IAM, billing, and quota systems, participate in code reviews, and help shape the platform's architecture while advancing secure, scalable cloud services for European science and industry.

Qualifications

• Experience building applications on Kubernetes (K8s) and growing toward platform engineering.
• Knowledge of Go and Python: ability to write clean, testable code.
• Understanding of REST API design: CRUD, error handling, versioning.
• AI-assisted development: comfortable using tools like Claude Code, Copilot.

Responsibilities

• Full ownership of platform services: DBaaS, the Registry, and Vault/Key Manager from implementation to operational stability.
• Integration with shared services: IAM, billing, and quotas.
• End-to-end delivery across Kubernetes integration, APIs and documentation.
• Engineering collaboration: code reviews and pair programming to co-create standards.
