Job summary

Cognism, a leading European B2B data and sales intelligence platform, is building a Warsaw Engineering Hub. We seek a Senior Platform Engineer / SRE to design, build and operate a scalable cloud platform on AWS, with emphasis on Kubernetes, automation and reliability.

You will collaborate with Security, Architecture and Engineering teams to raise platform standards. Join a hands-on role focused on reducing toil and delivering safe, scalable software for Cognism’s global teams, while promoting

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Platform Engineering, SRE or DevOps.
• Hands-on AWS experience in production environments.
• Strong Kubernetes administration and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or equivalent.
• Experience operating production systems with high availability requirements.
• Strong scripting or programming skills (Python, Go, Bash or similar).
• Excellent communication skills and fluent English.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and continuously improve Cognism's cloud platform running on AWS.
• Develop Infrastructure as Code using modern automation practices.
• Build and maintain Kubernetes platforms supporting engineering teams globally.
• Improve deployment pipelines, CI/CD workflows and developer productivity.
• Drive observability through monitoring, logging, alerting and distributed tracing.
• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis and reliability improvements.
• Partner with Engineering, Security and Architecture teams to improve platform resilience.
• Identify opportunities for cloud optimisation and FinOps improvements.
• Promote AI-assisted engineering practices for infrastructure and operations.
