Job summary

PHINIA in Kraków is seeking a Junior VMD Specialist (maternity cover) to ensure accurate creation and modification of vendor and customer accounts in SAP, and to support data governance across the Master Data team.

You will work with internal stakeholders, uphold SOX controls, and contribute to a collaborative, safety-conscious environment while building relationships with cross‑functional teams.

Qualifications

  • Strong command of English combined with solid communication skills.
  • Knowledge of an additional foreign language preferred.
  • Familiarity with SAP and MS Excel preferred.
  • Can‑do attitude required.
  • Preferred financial background with supplier‑oriented mindset and strong cultural awareness.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to solve problems effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Create and modify vendor and customer accounts in SAP according to established procedures.
  • Audit changes (creation/modification) performed by other Master Data team members to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Ensure effective communication between internal and external stakeholders (plants, purchasing, payments team, etc.).
  • Build, maintain, and develop relationships with members of other teams to obtain required information and data on time, while fostering a friendly work environment.
  • Perform daily Master Data tasks and other activities according to rules and guidelines, escalating exceptions as needed.
  • Act in accordance with SOX control requirements.
  • Carry out other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.

75 200,00 – 94 000,00 – 112 800,00 PLN Annual

Key Responsibilities
  • Correct and timely creation and modification of vendor and customer accounts in SAP, in line with established procedures and metrics
  • Conducting audits of changes (creation/modification of data) performed by other Master Data team members to ensure process accuracy and efficiency
  • Ensuring effective communication between internal and external stakeholders (plants, purchasing department, payments team, etc.)
  • Building, maintaining, and developing relationships with members of other teams to obtain required information and data on time, while fostering a friendly work environment and positive team atmosphere
  • Performing daily tasks and other activities according to established rules and guidelines, and escalating all exceptions to the direct supervisor when necessary
  • Acting in accordance with SOX control requirements
  • Carrying out other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor
