Job summary

PHINIA is seeking a quality and process improvement specialist in Poland to drive product conformance and continuous improvement across assigned production areas. You will lead measurement and quality assurance practices, support new product introductions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to elevate customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong knowledge of control plans, FMEA, SPC, and metrology techniques, with a focus on minimizing defects and optimizing process capability.

Qualifications

• Higher technical education in mechanical engineering, quality management, electronics, robotics, metrology, or related.
• Proven knowledge of building Control Plans and FMEA, measuring equipment & metrology techniques, quality core tools, SPC, assembly processes and basic manufacturing, and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing.
• Experience evaluating new products and verifying changes for existing products; ensuring measurement/control systems are used per design.

Responsibilities

• Assess product conformance to customer requirements and PHINIA quality oversight for the assigned area.
• Provide analysis, guidance and support for process improvement activities, including effective use of problem-solving tools and statistical analysis.
• Responsible for evaluation of new products and verification of changes for existing products.
• Ensure the control system is conducted according to the design.
• Optimize process capability for special characteristics using statistical techniques and production training.
• Apply knowledge of measurement equipment and techniques to provide data for decision making.
• Use analytical skills to identify root causes of defects and propose corrective actions.
• Handle customer complaints in the area and manage customer audits.
• Prepare and send to customers reports of analyses; manage warranty indicators and costs.
• Communicate with other departments regarding customer requirements and suggestions.
• Assess, monitor, and raise customer satisfaction.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Obowiązki i odpowiedzialność: ocena wyrobu dotycząca jego zgodności z wymaganiami klienta oraz PHINIA nadzór nad jakością wyrobu dla przypisanego obszaru- kierowanie planami doskonalenia jakości. dostarczenie analizy, wskazówek oraz wsparcia dla działań doskonalących procesy produkcyjne, włączając efektywne wykorzystanie narządzi/technik rozwiązywania problemu oraz analizy statystycznej. odpowiedzialność za ocenę dla nowych wyrobów oraz weryfikację zamian dla wyrobów już istniejących. zapewnienie, że system kontroli prowadzony jest zgodnie z założeniami. optymalizacja zdolności procesu dla charakterystyk specjalnych poprzez efektywne zastosowanie technik statystycznych oraz szkolenia produkcyjne. wykorzystanie wiedzy dotyczącej stosowania sprzętu pomiarowego oraz technik, aby dostarczyć dane konieczne do podejmowania decyzji. wykorzystanie umiejętności analitycznych do określenia przyczyny wady i zaproponowania działań korygujących. obsługa reklamacji klienta w danym obszarze/ zarządzanie audytami klienta przygotowanie i przesyłanie do klienta raportów z analiz zarządzanie i akceptacja wskaźników i kosztów gwarancyjnych zarządzanie specyficznymi wymaganiami klienta komunikacja z innymi działami dotycząca wymagań i sugestii klienta ocena, monitorowanie i podnoszenie satysfakcji klienta

Wymagania i umiejętności

• Wykształcenie wyższe techniczne – specjalność mechanika, zarządzanie jakością, elektronika, robotyka, metrologia, bądź pokrewne
• Udokumentowana wiedza dotycząca: budowania Planów Kontroli i FMEA, zasad funkcjonowania sprzętu kontrolno-pomiarowego oraz technik pomiarowych, stosowania technik analizy przyczyny powstania wad/niezgodności (quality core tools), zasad stosowania statystycznej kontroli procesu (SPC), procesów montażu i podstawowych technik wytwarzania, geometrii rysunkowej oraz wymiarowania.
