Job summary

Huawei Europe in Warsaw is seeking a Junior Telecommunications Engineer to support installation, commissioning and integration of network equipment. You will work within a delivery team on telecom solutions and participate in verification and testing.

The role requires graduates or final-year students in Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering, knowledge of core networks and wireless technologies, and fluency in English and Polish.

Qualifications

• Graduates or final-year students of Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering.
• Knowledge of Core Networks (PS/USC/CS/IMS), Wireless (2G/3G/LTE/5G), IP networks (TCP/IP, routing, switching), Transmission networks (DWDM, optical networks), and Digital power systems.
• Fluent in English and Polish; willingness to work full-time in the Warsaw office.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and integrate network/telecommunications equipment.
• Perform pre-sale verification and acceptance tests of equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems in the operator's network.
• Migrate services in an operating telecommunications network.
• Design solutions using Huawei technologies.

Job Title: Junior Telecommunications Engineer

Job Location: Warsaw, Poland

Main Responsibilities:

• Working as a reliable delivery team member responsible for installation, commissioning and integration of network / telecommunications equipment

• Performing pre-sale verification and acceptance tests of the equipment

• Diagnostics and troubleshooting of technical problems in the operator's network

• Migration of services in an operating telecommunications network

• Solutions design using the latest technologies based on Huawei products

Requirements:

• The offer is addressed to graduates and students of the last year of Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering with knowledge of at least one of the following technologies:

• Core Networks: PS/USC/CS/IMS

• Wireless: 2G/3G/LTE/5G

• IP networks: TCP/IP, routing, switching

• Transmission networks: DWDM, optical networks

• Digital power: UPS systems, power plants, photovoltaics, smart lithium batteries for mobile phone base stations

• Availability to work full-time (>35 hours per week) stationary in the Warsaw office

• Good communication in English (both spoken and written) and Polish

• Willingness to learn and develop new skills and ideas

• Professional approach to work, strong sense of responsibility

• Positive, helpful attitude and ability to work with others

• Ability to work in a diversified, cross culture organization
