Job summary

Macrobond is hiring a Junior System Administrator in Szczecin to support daily IT operations under IT OPS supervision. You will execute standard admin tasks in Linux and Windows, monitor environments, and assist with routine maintenance and incident handling to keep systems stable and secure.

The role emphasizes gradual independence, documentation, and collaboration with Security, R&D, and development teams. A hybrid work model and a modern office are offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in IT infrastructure, system administration, or related field.
• Educational background in IT/CS/Cybersecurity or related technical discipline.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard admin tasks in Linux and Windows systems per procedures.
• Maintain Linux systems and basic infrastructure services in test and production environments.
• Handle incidents and changes of low or medium complexity within defined timelines.
• Monitor environments, perform initial alert analysis, and escalate incidents requiring deeper diagnostics.
• Assist with operating system, service, and administrative tool updates including security patches.
