Job summary

Directio is seeking an IT Systems & Infrastructure Administrator to join our client, a law firm, and handle day-to-day IT operations.

The role combines systems and infrastructure administration, server and network management, service monitoring, and security to ensure continuity of the IT environment. You will work with users and external partners to resolve issues and implement new IT solutions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT systems administration, infrastructure, or a similar technical role.
• Hands-on Linux system administration experience.
• Experience with servers, networks, and IT infrastructure.
• Knowledge of backup, recovery, patching, and general infrastructure maintenance.
• Good English communication and collaboration with users.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain IT systems, servers, and network infrastructure.
• Manage Linux-based systems, ensuring stability, availability, and performance.
• Monitor infrastructure, applications, and services; respond to incidents.

About project

We are looking for an IT Systems & Infrastructure Administrator to join our client, a law firm, and take responsibility for the day-to-day administration, maintenance, and development of its IT environment.

This is a hands-on technical role combining systems and infrastructure administration, server and network management, service monitoring, technical support, and ensuring the security and continuity of the IT environment.

You will be working closely with users and external technical partners, troubleshooting infrastructure and application issues, maintaining servers and networks, monitoring services, and supporting the implementation of new IT solutions.

Responsibilities

• You will be administering and maintaining the company’s IT systems, servers, infrastructure, and network environment;

• You will be managing Linux-based systems and services, ensuring their stability, availability, and performance;

• You will be monitoring infrastructure, applications, and services, proactively identifying potential issues and responding to incidents;

• You will be troubleshooting technical issues related to systems, servers, networks, applications, and user environments;

• You will be providing IT and technical support to users, including support with hardware, software, access, and system-related issues;

• You will be supporting the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and development of internal IT services and applications;

• You will be responsible for backup and recovery processes, system updates, patching, and ongoing infrastructure maintenance;

• You will be supporting server and network administration, including troubleshooting infrastructure and connectivity issues;

• You will be contributing to infrastructure and system security, including access management, system hardening, updates, and monitoring;

• You will be creating and maintaining technical documentation, including configurations, procedures, incidents, and implemented solutions;

• You will be independently troubleshooting technical issues and cooperating with external vendors and technology partners when required;

• You will be supporting business-critical IT services and helping ensure their continuous availability.

Requirements

• You have professional experience in IT systems administration, infrastructure, IT Operations, Technical Support, or a similar technical role;

• You have hands-on experience with Linux system administration;

• You have experience administering and troubleshooting servers, networks, and IT infrastructure;

• You have experience monitoring and maintaining production or business-critical systems and services;

• You have a good understanding of networking and are comfortable troubleshooting infrastructure and connectivity issues;

• You have experience in IT Support / Technical Support and are comfortable working directly with end users;

• You understand backup and recovery processes, system updates, patching, and general infrastructure maintenance;

• You have knowledge of IT security best practices, including access management and system hardening;

• You are able to independently troubleshoot technical issues and take ownership of them through resolution;

• You are comfortable creating and maintaining clear technical documentation;

• You have good communication skills and are comfortable working with both technical and non-technical users;

• You are able to independently prioritize tasks and take ownership of the assigned IT environment;

• You have a good command of English.
