GlaxoSmithKline plc in Warsaw seeks a Junior Planning and Forecasting Finance Analyst to partner with business stakeholders, support forecasting, planning and monthly reporting. You will work with finance teams to deliver accurate plans, explain variances, and improve processes in our technology-enabled P&F Team.

The role offers growth, a chance to contribute to GSK’s purpose, and a hybrid work arrangement in Warsaw with on-site presence part of the week.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business or related field.
Minimum 1–2 years of finance experience in forecasting, planning, reporting or financial controlling.
Good Excel skills with formulas, pivot tables and data manipulation.
Comfortable with finance systems such as SAC, planning tools or reporting platforms.
Strong written and verbal English; able to present financial information clearly.

Responsibilities

Create Forecasts, Plan and Demand Financial Forecasting exercises for your country.
Maintain financial models for monthly and quarterly forecasts.
Understand the link between plan and actuals.
Analyze variances and provide clear commentary to finance partners.
Support month-end close tasks, including variance analysis.
Use new technologies to provide regular reports for managerial decisions.
Reconcile financial data across systems and resolve discrepancies with regional teams.
