Job summary

Hatch, a global engineering leader, seeks a Junior Piping Designer in Katowice, Poland to develop piping 3D models and 2D deliverables per Hatch standards throughout project lifecycles.

You bring a mechanical engineering degree and 1–2 years in piping design; experience with Bentley/Intergraph 3D systems; knowledge of PFDs, P&IDs, and piping materials; strong teamwork and communication skills; site exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• 1–2 years piping design experience.
• Experience with Bentley and/or Intergraph 3D design systems.
• Knowledge of piping components and materials.

Responsibilities

• Layout complex plant and piping systems in 3D.
• Create 2D deliverables and GA drawings to Hatch standards.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Mentor junior designers and supervise tasks.
• Ensure drawings comply with project procedures.
