Hatch is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our Project Delivery Group. You will develop engineering calculations, 3D models, and drawings for large and small projects, reporting to the Lead Mechanical Engineer.

The role emphasizes design, specifications, and team mentorship for project success. Ideal candidates hold a mechanical engineering degree, professional registration, 2–8 years of experience, and strong English/Polish communication.

Qualifications

• BSc/BEng, MSc or MEng in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Registration as a professional engineer or actively pursuing registration.
• 2–8 years of project engineering experience.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good planning and organizational skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with industry standards, regulations, and codes.
• Ability to coordinate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Safety awareness and focus on safe delivery.
• Proficient in English and Polish communication.

Responsabilités

• Assist the Lead Mechanical Engineer with scope, cost and schedule delivery.
• Perform system analyses; define design criteria and layouts.
• Prepare engineering calculations: hydraulics, stress, sizing, vessel design.
• Prepare technical specifications and data sheets from other disciplines.
• Contribute to technical memos and reports within expertise.
• Support engineering and cost estimation activities.
• Contribute to 3D models and 2D drawings as needed.
• Participate in design reviews and project execution activities.
• Mentor junior engineers and support career development.
