Job summary

Box is seeking a junior payroll support specialist for the EMEA region. You will handle monthly payroll inputs, liaise with global providers, and ensure accuracy and compliance across contracts and statutory obligations.

Fluency in English and Polish is required, with strong Excel skills and attention to detail. Based in Warsaw, this on-site role involves collaborating with People Operations and other teams to resolve queries and process payroll in a timely, compliant manner.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support in collecting and preparing monthly International payroll inputs for the assigned area of responsibility, ensuring compliance with contractual and statutory obligations.
  • Assist relationships with global payroll providers and ensure timely receipt of payroll reports.
  • Collect and validate all required new starter documentation, payroll tax forms, and bank details.
  • Coordinate inputs for contractual changes and variable payroll inputs with People Operations.
  • Use Workday and other sources to prepare monthly payroll for submission to the external Payroll Provider.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies.
  • Support ad-hoc and year-end activities for the International Payroll team.
  • Liaise with People Ops, Benefits, Commissions, and Equity teams to maintain good relationships.
  • Enter payment data into the bank for approval.
  • Provide employees with documents requested via service desk tickets.

We are looking for a high-energy, bright individual to help support the EMEA payroll process. This role will be the point of contact for employees’ service desk tickets and inquiries, reconcile and analyse payroll data in line with established procedures and payroll compliance. This is a junior level role, ideal for someone looking to kickstart their career in payroll. We’re looking for and enthusiastic, detail orientated and organised individual with proven success in work experience and/or education; a game-changer who will take charge of our payroll processing timely and accurately, follow audit steps and controls, reliable and a key support role for the payroll team. WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Support in collecting and preparing monthly International payroll inputs for the assigned area of responsibility, ensuring compliance with contractual and statutory obligations.
  • Support relationships with global payroll providers by helping ensure the accuracy and timely receipt of payroll reports.

  • Support the International Payroll team with various ad-hoc and year-end activities.
  • Liaise with internal People Ops, Benefits, Commissions, and Equity teams and maintain good relationships.
  • Enter payment data into the bank for approval.
  • Coordinate providing Employees with documents requested via service desk ticket.

  • Knowledge of Polish legislations (Tax law etc)
Percentage of Time Spent:
  • 45% Payroll Input Preparation - data gathering for submission to External Payroll Provider
  • 10% Payroll Analytics preparation and review of reports post payroll processing ready for approval
  • 40% Responding to employee queries and tickets
