Job summary

Infosys Poland in Łódź is seeking a finance specialist with 1 year of F&A OTC or master data experience. You will work with Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot), communicate in Italian and English (B2), and handle cash application tasks. The role requires problem solving, teamwork, and meeting tight targets in a hybrid office setup.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in F&A OTC or master data area.
• Very good knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, PIVOT).
• Italian and English knowledge at least B2 level.
• Ability to meet targets and work under pressure.
• Solid planning, organizing and time management skills.
• Good communication skills and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Book all transactions to ensure current settlements status.
• Unallocated cash analysis and investigation.
• Process customer refunds where required.
• Proactively resolve day-to-day issues and escalate to Supervisor.
• Participate in end of month/quarter/year closes.
• Build strong collaborative relationships with internal teams to resolve queries.
• Regularly update the team leader on developments and progress.
• Prepare reports as required by the Supervisor.
• Contact the Supervisor promptly if a potential problem arises.

Job description

We are looking for a candidate with:

1 year experience in F&A OTC (especially cash application) or master data area

Very good knowledge of excel (VLOOKUP, PIVOTS)

Italian and English knowledge on at least B2 level (essential for client's communication purposes)

Ability to handle difficult and sensitive situations professionally

Ability to meet targets and work under pressure

Solid planning, organizing and time management skills required

Good communication skills (written and verbal), attitude towards problem solving and team skills

Working with SAP4H will be an asset

Your key activities:

Book all transactions in the system in order to ensure the current status of the settlements

Unallocated cash analysis and investigation

Process customer refunds where required

Proactive resolution of day-to-day issues and escalate to Supervisor

Actively participating in end of month/quarter and year financial close tasks

Build strong collaborative relationships with internal teams, including Sales and Customer Service, to enhance communication and resolve queries effectively.

Regularly update the team leader around developments and progress of relevant operational issues

Prepare reports when required by the Supervisor

To contact the Supervisor as soon as possible if there is a potential problem
