Job summary

Sii Poland is seeking a Data Management Specialist to join our Business Services Competency Center in Warsaw. You will work with a global team, handling data related to investment funds and ensuring accuracy across systems. Some remote work is possible after onboarding.

Ideal candidates are students or graduates in Economics, Finance, or Linguistics with strong Excel skills and a keen eye for detail. Fluency in English and Polish is required.

Responsibilities

• Process and reconcile dividend-related transactions and events.
• Support mergers, liquidations, and other investment lifecycle events.
• Update data in internal systems.
• Verify data on clients' investments in investment funds.
• Transfer data between banking systems and ensure accuracy.
• Analyse data discrepancies in Excel.
• Communicate with international teams to detect irregularities in databases.
• Ensure internal process deadlines are met.

As part of the Business Services Competency Center at Sii, we are running a project for an international financial institution, in which our team (+30 Data Management Specialists) supports operational processes in the area of investment funds.

If you are interested in the financial and banking industry, you like working with data (and Excel), and daily contact with teams from around the world sounds like a great opportunity to gain experience, join us!

Onboarding will be carried out at an office located in the center of Warsaw, and after the implementation period, it is possible to work partly remotely.

Your tasks

• Process and reconcile dividend-related transactions and events
• Support the handling of mergers, liquidations, and other investment lifecycle events
• Updating data in internal systems
• Verifying data on clients' investments in investment funds
• Transferring data between banking systems and ensuring its correctness
• Analysing data discrepancies in Excel
• Communicating with other international teams to detect irregularities in internal databases
• Ensuring that internal process deadlines are met

Requirements

• Fluency in English and Polish
• Students or graduates – preferable from Economics, Finance, or Linguistics
• Good knowledge of MS Office, mainly Excel
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills and a team player attitude
• Residing in Poland required

• Interest in financial markets and money investments
