Camlin Energy Ltd. in Kraków is seeking a Junior Node.js Engineer to develop embedded Linux applications for monitoring equipment in electrical networks.

You will work with JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and React to support back-end services via REST APIs and contribute to CI/CD and testing with guidance from senior engineers. With exposure to the full software development lifecycle, you will learn embedded systems concepts and modern web technologies while collaborating with QA, DevOps, and

Qualifications

• Foundational knowledge of JavaScript or TypeScript and Node.js.
• Understanding of web fundamentals and REST APIs.
• Basic knowledge of Linux and command-line usage.
• Understanding of software development fundamentals, version control, testing, and debugging.
• Proactive learner with problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Fluent English, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Implement well-defined software features using Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, and React with support from the team.
• Fix defects and assist with troubleshooting on Linux-based embedded systems.
• Write and maintain unit tests and contribute to integration and system testing.
• Learn to use and support the team’s CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborate with software engineers, QA, DevOps, and other engineering disciplines.
• Take part in code reviews, applying feedback to improve code quality and engineering skills.
• Maintain technical documentation for assigned features and changes.
• Communicate progress, questions, and blockers clearly.
