Job summary

Camlin Energy Ltd is seeking a mid-level full-stack Node.js Engineer to help develop embedded Linux applications for monitoring equipment in electrical networks. The role focuses on JavaScript and TypeScript with Node.js for microservices and React.js for web interfaces that talk to back-end services via REST APIs.

You will design, implement, test, and debug features, contribute to CI/CD pipelines, create unit and integration tests, and collaborate with senior engineers, QA and DevOps teams on

Qualifications

• Commercial experience with Node.js, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience building REST APIs and modern web applications.
• Solid debugging skills in a Linux environment.
• Knowledge of Ethernet, serial and TLS/SSL.
• Experience with source control practices.
• Fluent English in both written and spoken form.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded software applications using Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript and React.
• Design and implement features and REST APIs within established architecture.
• Debug and troubleshoot Linux-based embedded systems.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and reliable software delivery.
• Create and maintain unit and integration tests; support system testing.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including QA and DevOps; participate in code reviews.
