Camlin Group, a global technology leader, seeks a Junior Node.js Engineer to develop embedded Linux applications for monitoring equipment. You will work under guidance to implement, test, and debug features for IoT devices, gaining exposure to full software lifecycle, embedded systems, and web technologies.

You will learn to collaborate across teams, participate in code reviews, and contribute to documentation, while expanding your skills in modern engineering practices and Agile teamwork.

Qualificações

• Knowledge of web fundamentals and REST APIs.
• Basic knowledge of Linux and using a command-line environment.
• Understanding of software development fundamentals, source control, testing, and debugging.
• Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.
• Fluent English, both written and verbal.

Responsabilidades

• Fix defects and assist with troubleshooting on Linux-based embedded systems.
• Write and maintain unit tests and contribute to integration and system testing.
• Learn to use and support the team’s CI/CD workflows.
• Collaborate with software engineers, QA, DevOps, and other engineering disciplines.
• Take part in code reviews, applying feedback to improve code quality and engineering skills.
• Maintain technical documentation for assigned features and changes.
• Communicate progress, questions, and blockers clearly.

We are looking for a Junior Node.js Engineer to join our team developing embedded Linux applications for monitoring equipment in electrical networks.

With guidance from experienced engineers, you will implement, test, and debug well-defined features for IoT embedded devices. This role offers exposure to the full software development lifecycle and an opportunity to build practical skills in embedded systems, web technologies, and professional engineering practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Docker, CI/CD, or GitLab.
• Basic understanding of Ethernet, serial communication, or TLS/SSL.
• Interest in IoT, embedded Linux, or hardware-software integration.
• Familiarity with Agile teamwork and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
