Job summary

Seargin is seeking a data quality and IDMP data specialist to find, extract, transform, validate, and encode IDMP-related product and substance master data. You will compare datasets to identify inconsistencies and contribute to data quality improvements across the business.

The role involves BAU data support, handling backlogs, and aiding AI tool development with data backfill for the wider team. Strong communication with stakeholders is essential.

Responsibilities

• Data Comparison
  • Compare multiple datasets to identify inconsistencies, discrepancies, and data quality issues

  • Validate data accuracy and consistency and recommend corrections and improvements across the business

  • Support Business as Usual activities, backlog management, and data-related requests as required

  • Support AI tool development activities and provide data backfill support for the wider team

  • Investigate data issues and clearly communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders

Requirements

• IDMP Knowledge
  • Basic to advanced knowledge of IDMP and product or substance master data concepts
• Scientific Background
  • Background in chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, biology, or vaccinology, preferably at MSc or PhD level
• Data Accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when working with structured and regulated data
• Data Quality
  • Ability to identify inconsistencies, assess data quality, and recommend appropriate corrections
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a regulated environment
• Communication
  • Clear communication skills with the ability to explain data issues and recommendations to business and technical stakeholders
