Job summary

Adamed Pharma is seeking a Senior Data Governance Specialist to lead data governance initiatives, define data definitions and quality metrics, and maintain the business data glossary within our IBP framework.

You will collaborate with Data Owners, Data Stewards, IT and business stakeholders to establish governance standards, monitor data quality, support MDM and ERP projects, and foster a strong data ownership culture across the organization.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience with data definitions, quality issue resolution, and data standards.
• Knowledge of ERP environments and master data structures (materials, BOMs, products, suppliers, customers).

Senior Data Governance Specialist (F/M/X)

What will you be responsible for?

• Executing Data Governance processes, including data definition, quality management, access management, change control, and reporting.
• Building and maintaining the business data glossary, KPI definitions, data ownership structures, and business rules, particularly within Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
• Collaborating with Data Owners, Data Stewards, business stakeholders, and IT teams to define and govern data standards.
• Supporting Master Data Management (MDM) activities, including identifying data gaps, documenting issues, and monitoring corrective actions.
• Managing data quality incidents and tracking resolution activities in line with agreed SLAs.
• Developing and monitoring data quality metrics related to completeness, consistency, and accuracy.
• Maintaining data catalogs, metadata repositories, and governance documentation.
• Preparing reports, analyses, and materials for the Data Governance team, Chief Data Officer, and Data Governance Committees.
• Facilitating workshops focused on data definitions, quality challenges, governance responsibilities, and business information needs.
• Supporting projects related to Data Governance, MDM, ERP, reporting, data integration, and migration.
• Acting as a bridge between business and IT by translating business requirements into functional needs and supporting solution testing.
• Promoting a strong data ownership culture across the organization through communication, training, and awareness initiatives.

What are we looking for?

• 2–3+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Quality, Business Analysis, Reporting, ERP systems, Data Warehousing, or related fields.
• Hands-on experience working with business data, including analysis, documentation, data definitions, and quality issue resolution.
• Understanding of Data Governance and/or Master Data Management concepts such as Data Owner, Data Steward, metadata, business glossary, data domains, and golden records.
• Experience in pharmaceutical, manufacturing, or regulated environments, with familiarity with GxP, ALCOA+, or data integrity principles.
• Knowledge of ERP environments and master data structures (materials, BOMs, products, suppliers, customers).
• Ability to effectively collaborate with business and IT stakeholders and translate complex data topics into clear business language.
• Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience using tools such as Excel, Power BI, Data Catalog solutions, reporting platforms, or metadata management tools.
• Basic understanding of AI applications in business or willingness to develop these skills.
• Higher education degree in Information Technology, Business, Economics, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Good command of English.
• Strong organizational skills, ownership mindset, and ability to build effective cross-functional relationships.
